Newest family Member Our Year 2022 As always, we hope this has been a good year for you. This year our travels included trips to Vancouver WA, Palm Desert with Cathy’s sister Mary, camping, skiing, and short trips to Carmel Valley, Napa, Monterey and Paso Robles. Big news this year: Lauren got engaged, Cathy retired, and we adopted a labradoodle we named Lucy.

Hal completed his 2nd year of retirement. He was able to do some skiing this year but not much camping. He had some temporary back issues but is better now and is looking forward to making up for lost time. Lucy loves to follow him wherever he goes.

Cathy retired in June. She now enjoys pickleball, yoga, book club, walking with Lucy, and cooking. She traveled to visit Lauren in WA, to attend her niece Natalie’s graduation in CO, and a trip east to visit family and friends, including a reunion in NY with college friends.

Lauren has found her spot in the Pacific Northwest. She continues enjoying her work in digital advertising and spending time with her friends. The big event was her engagement to Josh Martin, whom she met in Portland. She and Josh recently bought a house in Vancouver, WA, with plenty of room for Leo, their cat, to explore.
